Sauna Financing and HSA/FSA Payment Options

Short answer: every Blazin sauna product page gives you three ways to pay: pay in full, make monthly payments through Affirm, or use HSA/FSA funds through TrueMed if you qualify. Affirm sets eligibility and terms, and you see your options when you choose Affirm at checkout. TrueMed decides HSA/FSA eligibility at checkout, and a Letter of Medical Necessity may be required. Blazin Saunas does not claim that sauna use diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents any condition.

The three ways to pay

  • Pay in full. Choose your model and options, then check out with a card, Shopify Payments, or PayPal.
  • Monthly payments through Affirm. Choose Affirm at checkout to view your options. Eligibility and terms are determined by Affirm, and Affirm calculates your monthly amount.
  • HSA/FSA through TrueMed. Pick the HSA/FSA option on the product page. Your sauna purchase may qualify. A Letter of Medical Necessity may be required, and eligibility is determined through TrueMed at checkout, not by Blazin.

We don't give tax advice, and we don't say a sauna is tax deductible. If you have tax questions, ask a tax professional.

Budget for the whole project, not just the cabin

A payment plan is easier to set when it covers everything it takes to reach first heat. The sauna price is the biggest line, but there are a few more:

  1. The sauna. Model, size, heater, and options. Current prices are on each product page.
  2. A base. A level, stable, draining pad, such as concrete, compacted gravel, or a framed platform. Local labor and access drive the cost, so get a local quote.
  3. Electrical work. Electric heaters need a licensed electrician to run and connect the circuit. Wood heat skips the circuit but brings stove clearance and venting planning.
  4. Assembly. Most customers assemble their kit themselves. Professional assembly by our nationwide team is optional at $1,250 for pods, barrels, cubes, and the Timberline, separate from the sale. The Teton and Blackwood arrive fully built. See DIY vs professional assembly.
  5. Shipping. Free to the contiguous U.S. on pods, barrels, cubes, and the Timberline. Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska is quoted. Teton and Blackwood shipping is quoted by location and crane needs. See what free shipping includes.
  6. Accessories. A bucket and ladle, a thermometer, and similar gear. See the accessories checklist.

The full breakdown is in Outdoor sauna cost. Pad and power details are in Foundation and electrical.

Before you check out

Every sauna is handmade for your order in our Idaho Falls shop, so a few things are worth settling first:

  • Sales are final. All sales are final. Each sauna is handmade for your order in East Idaho. Defects are covered by our 3-year warranty. There is no trial period, so take the time to pick the right size and heater.
  • Timing. Pods, barrels, cubes, and the Timberline take about 4–5 weeks to build, then 5–10 business days in transit. Teton and Blackwood lead time is confirmed with your quote. Use that window to get your base and electrical ready.
  • Site readiness. Line up the base and electrician so the sauna is not sitting in crates waiting on site work.
  • Heater choice. Electric, wood-burning, or both in a dual-heater build. Gas and propane heaters are available by request: call, text or message us to set it up. Check your local rules before you choose wood, and ask us if you have questions. Compare in electric vs wood-burning heaters.
