Every Blazin sauna is customizable. Choose the size, the wood inside and out, the heater, the glass, and the finishing details. Our team of six builds it by hand from Sugi cedar in Idaho Falls, to your spec.

What you can customize
These are the choices offered today. Each product page shows exactly which ones apply to that model.
Size. Most models come in set footprints you can compare in the Size guide. Several offer more than one: Teton in sizes from 5x6 to 8x10; Blackwood in 8x10 or 8x15; the 6 Person Cube in 6x6x6, 6x7x6, or 7x7x7; the XL Barrel in 6x7x6 or 6x8x6; and the Timberline in Small or Large.
Interior wood. Sugi cedar comes standard. On Teton and Blackwood you can also choose Thermo Spruce or Thermo Aspen (clear grade on the Teton).
Exterior siding. Teton: board and batten LP SmartSide or exterior cedar siding. Blackwood: cedar siding, board and batten, or metal siding.
Heater. Electric or wood-burning heaters, and we can build with both wood and electric if you want both. Gas and propane heaters are available by request: call, text or message us to set it up. Electric packages include Harvia KIP (built-in dial or WiFi), Harvia Spirit WiFi, and Huum Drop WiFi, with Harvia Virta and Club WiFi on the Timberline and Harvia KIP 4.5kW or Huum Steel Mini on the Pod Mini. The wood-burning Harvia M3 is offered on the Timberline, 4 Person Barrel, and XL Barrel; the Blackwood and Teton can have a wood-burning stove, and the 6 Person Cube comes with an electric heater, with wood or gas available on request (ask us). Pods don't come with wood-burner packages. Several models can also ship with no heater. We carry Harvia, Huum, Scandia, and Saunum heaters in Heaters.
Windows. A panoramic rear window is an option on the 4 Person Barrel, and a 72 inch half-moon tempered glass window is available as an add-on. The Blackwood uses tempered, double-pane insulated windows, placed where you want them.
Glass door. Tempered glass doors come in 24x56, 28x56, and 28x68 inches, with or without a hardware kit. The Blackwood includes a tempered-glass sauna door.
Lighting. The Blackwood includes under-bench LED lighting and exterior lighting. For lighting on other models, ask us when you spec your build.
Benches. Bench dimensions for each model are listed on its product page. On the Blackwood, the bench layout is yours to design. For bench changes on other models, ask before you order.
Black metal roof. Our outdoor models ship with the black metal roof. The Pod Mini can also go without a roof kit for indoor use.
Changing room. The Blackwood pairs the sauna with an attached private changing room in both sizes, with covered deck and extended roof-overhang options.
Teton and Blackwood: built entirely to spec
The Teton and Blackwood are insulated builds. They arrive fully built, not as a kit, so there's nothing to assemble on site.
- Teton: sizes from 5x6 to 8x10, two siding choices, three interior woods.
- Blackwood: an attached private changing room, 8x10 or 8x15, three siding choices, three interior woods, electric or wood heat, under-bench LED and exterior lighting, and a window, door, bench, and room layout of your choosing.
- Delivery: quoted for your address, depending on location and whether a crane is needed to set the sauna.

How a custom build works
Reach out. Email support@blazinsaunas.com, call or text (208) 520-6612 or (208) 270-5860, or use our contact page. A photo of your space and a note on how you will use the sauna help us most.
Settle the spec. We walk through size, interior wood, siding, heater, windows, door, lighting, benches, and roof with you, and confirm what is included before you order.
We build it. Your sauna is handmade from Sugi cedar in Idaho Falls. Pods, barrels, cubes, and the Timberline typically take 4 to 5 weeks from order. Kits then take about 5–10 business days in transit. We confirm Teton and Blackwood timing with your quote.
Delivery. Pods, barrels, cubes, and the Timberline ship free to the contiguous U.S. (Hawaii and Alaska shipping is quoted), to a curb or driveway receiving point, with transit of 5–10 business days. See what free shipping includes. Teton and Blackwood delivery is quoted by location and crane need.
Assembly and setup. Pods, barrels, cubes, and the Timberline ship with instructions for home assembly, or add professional assembly by our nationwide team for $1,250. Teton and Blackwood arrive fully built. Every build needs a level, draining base, and electric heaters need a licensed electrician: Foundation and electrical.
What every build shares
Customization changes the finish, not the standard. Blazin saunas are handmade in Idaho Falls, and our cedar cabins are built clean: stainless steel screws, no glue in the cabin joinery, and no plastics in the structure that off-gas in the heat. Is every Blazin sauna customizable?
Yes. Heater, roof, window, and size choices appear on each product page, and the Teton and Blackwood are built entirely to your spec. For anything not listed, email support@blazinsaunas.com before you order.
How long does a build take?
Typically 4 to 5 weeks from order for pods, barrels, cubes, and the Timberline. Kits then take about 5–10 business days in transit. Check the Availability line on the product page. We confirm timing for a Teton or Blackwood when we quote your build. See Delivery and lead times.
Is shipping free?
For pods, barrels, cubes, and the Timberline, yes, anywhere in the contiguous U.S. (the lower 48). Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska is quoted. Teton and Blackwood delivery is quoted separately, based on your location and whether a crane is needed. See Free shipping: what's included.
Can you assemble it for me?
Yes, for pods, barrels, cubes, and the Timberline. Professional assembly is $1,250 for on-site sauna assembly. Before assembly day, have a level, stable base ready and plan on a licensed electrician for heater hookup. The Teton and Blackwood arrive fully built, so there's nothing to assemble.
Can I choose a wood-burning heater?
Yes. The Harvia M3 wood-burning heater is offered on the Timberline, 4 Person Barrel, and XL Barrel; the Blackwood and Teton can also be built with wood heat, and wood on the 6 Person Cube is available on request (ask us). Does a custom build change the warranty?
