Blazin Saunas outdoor builds use a durable black metal roof: sleek, modern, and made to protect the cabin through rain and sun. Handcrafted with our Sugi cedar saunas in East Idaho.
Why a black metal roof on an outdoor sauna?
An outdoor sauna sits in weather year-round. The roof sheds rain, cuts sun exposure on the top of the cabin, and keeps the silhouette clean. Our black metal roof is the outdoor package finish we pair with traditional Sugi cedar builds so the structure looks sharp and stays ready for heat sessions in every season.
- All-weather durable: built for rain and sun
- Rust resistant: metal roof finish intended for outdoor use
- Modern finish: black profile that matches backyard and mountain sites
What’s included?
Most Blazin outdoor saunas ship with our signature black metal roof as part of the outdoor package. Confirm the exact roof option on each product page. Some models (for example the Pod Mini) also offer an indoor / no-roof-kit choice when you don’t need outdoor weather coverage.
Fully customizable builds can discuss roof and finish details with us when you order. Call or text (208) 520-6612 or (208) 270-5860, or email support@blazinsaunas.com.
Cold climates and snow
In East Idaho winters, and anywhere snow and wind are normal, keep the roof and base clear of heavy drift so meltwater drains away from the cabin. More planning notes: Outdoor sauna cold climate · Cedar sauna maintenance.
How it fits the Blazin build
The roof is one piece of a clean outdoor system: Sugi cedar walls (1 5/8″ on pods, barrels, cubes, and Timberline; Teton and Blackwood are insulated cabins), a clean build (no glue in the cabin joinery; no plastics in the structure that off-gas in the heat; stainless screws), and a heater sized for the cabin.
