Why the upper bench feels hotter
Hot air rises, so the upper bench sits in warmer air than the lower bench or the floor. Sitting up high puts you in the heat; dropping to the lower bench cools things down. Taller users get the most from a room with more headroom above the upper bench.
Picking for tall users
If someone in your house is tall, look first at the 6x7x6 size of the 6 Person Cube or the Timberline. For seats and footprint, see the size guide and cube vs barrel. Kits have a 4–5 week lead time while we build.
